HiCAD neXt Steel Construction is a universal, completely integrated steel construction solution, which will directly lead you to success, even for complex designs. HiCAD neXt offers functions, specially designed for steel construction, from detailed designs to photo-realistic representations.

 

Steel construction specific routine works, like the drawing of blue prints and individual parts, duplicate part recognition or the automatic determination of standard assemblies/DAST-connections (standard connections, according to the German steel construction norm) when linking profiles are mostly automated.


Profiles, other steel construction components and complete steel construction assemblies can be installed easily and error-free due to an expert system with photo-like selection catalogues and an integrated plausibility check. Later modifications can also be made quite easily.
 

 

The complete 3-D functionality can be used to process steel construction components, due to the consistent data structure of all HiCAD modules. HiCAD steel construction designs can be passed on to other systems without any problems. Interfaces, according to the demands of the German steel construction association (DSTV) are also available, apart from the common standard interfaces.

 

Metal construction
Use the functionality of glass-, metal- and facade design for the definition of individual glazing designs for conservatories, house facades, complex roofs or similar.
Special profiles, like facade-, light roofs- or window profiles of established producers can be used directly as profile groups, consisting of several individual cross-sections. The integrated logic as well as highly optimised correction functions make sure that these profile groups will automatically be adjusted to the HiCAD data structure. Both, simple and exact representation will be considered, enabling you to change the display, according to your requirements at any time.
 

Profile groups can be added fast and comfortable as construction series profiles and are available immediately as a 3-D model. Glass can also be fitted automatically, you only need to consider the protrusion and to check for tension.
Profile groups can also be combined and modified individually if necessary.

Stair design
Stairs can be designed nearly automatically. You only need a few parameters. They can then be linked and processed with the steel construction functions. As in practical experience, "accessibility" and DIN standards are important factors.

Laying planning
Trapezium shaped profiles such as cassette- and grid elements are automatically laid under consideration of exclusions such as window strips or doors.
