Standards
On of the most prominent features of HiCAD neXt is the range of extensive and fully integrated standard part catalogues which contribute considerably to the standardisation of products. No further effort is necessary when fitting, due to the photo-like catalogue system with integrated plausibility check. This applies to individual standard parts as well as to complete screw connections, which can also be fitted in several times as screw patterns in one step. The modification of fitted standard parts is also simplified. A mouse click gives you the access to all process options.

HiCAD neXt offers different sets of standards for various fields:
 

2-D and 3-D machine engineering,
2-D Steel construction,
2-D Plant design as well as
3-D Pipes, connections and containers.

If you possess the HiCAD neXt STEP-interface, you are enabled to access external standard part libraries of other producers, e.g. powerPARTS from web2CAD.
