The product management of HELiOS neXt is the central element controlling the consistent acquisition, management and structuring of all data and documents belonging to a product. For most manufacturing companies these are the part master data, parts lists, technical drawings, respectively 3-D models. They are important for production, service and maintenance. Data and documents from other parts of the company, like manuals, contracts, photos, films and many more have to be considered too. All these data and documents need to be managed consequently, as their current version needs to be available at any time – even outside the company.
