The print and plot manager, realised in the client-/server architecture, is used for the company-wide output of technical and general documents.

The client plot manager can be installed at any work place. The print/plot orders are defined at these work places and send to the server. Their status can be controlled at any time. Every print order will be recorded.

The server plot manager is in charge of the management of the print orders; it is installed on separate computer. The print orders are collected, queued and managed here.

The order monitor and the integrated receiver management permit an effective reconditioning and management of the incoming plot/print orders.

The electronic archiving, realised by the plot manager in client-/server architecture, permits the acquisition and long-term archiving of documents which can be displayed electronically.

The documents are collected, manipulated and archived on the client level. Scan processes can be started and controlled here. Grid formats can be processed subsequently, e.g. by deleting pixel areas. Master data and identification of documents are also made on the client level.

The server level supports the functionality of different scanner drivers and manages the temporary storage for the batch mode of scanners. Archiving is possible on various data carriers.
