Expenditure of time, cost situation and quality can only be increased considerably on the way to the finished product, when all participating departments work together efficiently. This process requires a structured exchange of information between all entities involved.

As a modern PDM system, HELiOS neXt supplies all necessary means for the consistent acquisition, administration and distribution of all information necessary for the process chain. Data which have thus been recorded can then be used everywhere in the company as well as for the complete product life cycle. from production via purchasing and service to marketing and sales.

Furthermore, HELiOS neXt controls and monitors the complete process flow, by controlling the process and transfer of this information. The company knowledge is used to full capacity, there is no double work and error potentials will be reduced.

HELiOS neXt can be used integrated in your CAD system or as Stand alone - as HELiOS neXt Desktop. It can be configured as a system for an individual place or can be location-comprehensive.

As a major part product information in a company is created with various application systems – not with CAD and HELiOS neXt -, HELiOS neXt has been created as an open system. This system permits the integration of these application systems and the product information included into the consistent product model. Various standardised or system-specific interfaces, e.g. to the market-relevant ERP- or CAD systems, are available for this purpose.
