The Access Management controls and manages the access rights of users within user groups as well as the allocation of access rights to documents, depending on the status, e.g. inactive, in process, in control or released. The substitute management controls the individual substitute situations of an individual workplace. Document access is recorded.

The Version Management guarantees the consistency of the product model changed over the time (life cycle). It will also guarantee that only the current version of an object is available (standard). Different versions can be displayed at any time vie the so-called index management.
