The HCM 3-D is an effective tool for the positioning and movement of assemblies. The individual geometrical elements of the 3-D model will be linked by constraints, i.e. dimension relations, logical combinations and restrictions. This process can either be simultaneous to the design process or can also be used for already existing assemblies. The geometry can be manipulated with few relations, even if the complete system is still underdefined. The individual components, which have been combined to complex assemblies will be adjusted automatically when the dimensions are modified.

The HCM 3-D allows dynamic manipulations, even for complex models, i.e. spatial movements can be controlled and will be visualised in real-time. Even three-dimensional kinematics analyses can be realised quite easily.

An automatic movement simulation, which you can use for demonstration purposes or for an exact analysis of special positions, can be integrated.
